Homemade Yogurt

4 Cups Organic Milk
1/3 cup powdered milk
1 tablespoon plain yogurt 
2 cups berries
2 tablespoons sugar 

Mix 4 cups of organic milk with 1/3 cup of powdered milk. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 190 degrees. Turn off the heat and cool to 110 degrees. Put 1/2 cup of mixture in a jar and mix with 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Return the mixture to the pot and mix completely. Divide the milk into 8 jars, than either place in a yogurt maker or keep at exactly 110 degrees for 10 hours. 


In the mean time, put 1 cup of berries in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the berries begin to release their juice.  Mix in 2 tablespoons of sugar. Turn off the heat once the sugar dissolved and mix in the remaining berries. Refrigerate until cooled and mix with yogurt!!! Yum! 

Easy Gourmet Popsicles

Squeeze the juice of your favorite fruit (or fruits that taste good together!) until you have about a cup of juice (I used orange and grapefruit)

Cut the juice with 1/4 cup of water

Chop up 1/2 cup of your favorite berry (I used strawberries)

Pour the juice into ice cube trays or popsickle molds and add in the berries to your liking

Add a toothpick (for ice cube trays) or popsickle stick (if needed with molds) and freeze. Enjoy! 


Purchase a Popsicle Tray! 

Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

Cut up one onion (don't chop, cut into rings or little slices) 
Slice 4 or 5 good sized, fresh tomatoes (into quarter or chunks) 
Add a container of fresh, mini mozzerella balls 
Toss everything together with some fresh, chopped basil and drizzle with some extra virgin olive oil and a little balsalmic vinegar

Serve chilled and enjoy!!

Vegetable Pizza

Crescent rolls
8 oz low fat/ fat free cream cheese
2 oz low fat/ fat free mayo
Raw Veggies

Get low calorie crescent rolls and spread out on a cookie sheet, bake as directed and let cool. Mix 8 oz low fat/ fat free cream cheese and 2 tablespoons low fat/ fat free mayo. Spread over crescent rolls. Top with all the raw veggies you want!
